I realize that I have not posted a lot his month. It’s just I have been busier than usual. First, my grandson was born 5 weeks early and I went to see him.
When I got back home, I had a cold that laid me low for more than a week.
Then, my son Patrick graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering.
Then multiple things occurred that made me know that I need to get my own apartment.
That about summarizes May for me. I’m looking forward to June and the annual count and probably some posts about the new apartment.
Oh my goodness, what a beautiful baby! Glad to hear all is well. Congrats to your son . . . computer science and engineering means he must be a pretty smart cookie!

It has been a joy-filled month. Except the cold.

Congratulations on new grandchild and new apartment! Sorry if I already wrote this another time (memory fatigue) but have you had a chance to read GOODBYE THINGS by Fumio Sasaki? The subtitle is: The New Japanese Minimalism. Just when I thought I could not learn anything new (I have read all the minimalist books, seen the movie, etc.) this book came along and is hands down the best one I’ve ever read. Plus there are fantastic “real people” apartment photos in the book–trust me, you will be inspired!

That sounds great! I’ll check and see if I can get it via the library.
